Plot Summary

Eight years after the death of prosecutor Harvey Dent (played by Aaron Eckhart), Gotham City effectively curbed criminal activity through the efforts of Sheriff Gordon (played by Gary Oldman). Batman Bruce Wayne (played by Christian Bale) is wanted by the police for the murder of Dent and has disappeared from Gotham City. However, this seemingly calm state was disrupted by the appearance of terrorist Bain (played by Tom Hardy), who used Catwoman (played by Anne Hathaway) to steal Bruce's fingerprints, causing the Wayne Group to face financial losses and Bruce to be expelled from the board of directors. In order to ensure that the energy projects invested by Wayne Group are not used by bad people to manufacture nuclear bombs, Bruce helps Miranda (played by Marion Cotillard) become the chairman of the board of directors. Bain's series of meticulously designed plans will leave Gotham City isolated, and the day of destruction is just around the corner. Bruce can only shoulder the heavy responsibility of saving Gotham once again, but the resignation and departure of his beloved butler Alfred, the betrayal of Catwoman, Bain's brutal methods, and the revelation of his lover Mirada's true face all make his mission to save Gotham impossible
