Description
Plot Summary
After 28 years in prison, Wall (played by Al Pacino) finally returns to the embrace of freedom. His long lost friend Doc (played by Christopher Walken) comes to greet him, and both of them cannot suppress their excitement and joy. Although the world underwent earth shattering changes during Wall's imprisonment, the friendship between him and his old friend remained steadfast and enduring. Afterwards, his old friend Hershey (played by Alan Arkin) also joined Wall and Doc's carnival, reminiscing about the past while enjoying the joy and indulgence brought by freedom. Happiness is always short-lived, and in Doc's heart, there is a secret that makes him feel incredibly heavy. Originally, Doc was entrusted by the gang leader to eliminate Wall, who had just been released from prison. Looking at Wall's unguarded face, Doc couldn't make a choice between friendship and morality, and he had very little time left to complete the task.
