Plot Summary

George (played by Paul Rudd) and Linda (played by Jennifer Aniston) are a young couple who have just decided to buy a house. However, they both face unemployment at the same time as buying the house. They have lost all their assets and decide to leave the stressful New York to seek a new life. After failing to seek refuge with relatives, the two of them arrived at the "Eden" style community they happened to pass by on the way, where they met a group of unconventional oddities. With a curious attitude, they encountered the mystical, Eastern mystical, and naturalistic philosophical theories they admired, and tried various hallucinogenic drugs. Originally just looking for a temporary shelter, Linda became increasingly immersed in this so-called "free" and "natural" concept of life, and the community leader also pursued her. George discovered a rift between the two and chose to leave after unsuccessful efforts, returning to New York alone to find a job. As the two reflect and sort out their lives and relationships with each other, the truth of the community slowly emerges
