Plot Summary

The story first begins with the demigod Maui (voiced by Dwayne Johnson) who lives in the Wind and Sea. He steals the heart of the goddess's Telfertiti, causing the magma demon Erca to go insane and threatening the destruction of small islands in the South Pacific. More than a thousand years later, Moana (voiced by Auli'i Cravallho), the daughter of a chieftain on a small island, gradually grew up under the care of her parents. In her childhood, she accidentally found the Heart of Tefiti and was also summoned by the sea. However, her father strictly prohibited Moana from going out to sea, even though the island was under threat of death. Moana learned about the history of their tribe from her grandmother, so in order to save the island, she still went out to sea to search for Mao Yi who was trapped somewhere, so that he could return the Heart of Tefertiti.
