Plot Summary
The visual materials used in the film are not entirely new, but have never been made public before. These materials were shot on site by more than 10 of the most outstanding documentary masters in the Soviet Union 70 years ago. In 1949, the Soviet Union sent photographers to China, where everything was waiting to be revitalized, to document the birth of the new China. The annotated title of this batch of materials is' China in the Eyes of Soviet Photographers'. They have been dormant in the Soviet documentary archives for more than half a century. Fortunately, the editor in chief of the History Channel of the All Russian Broadcasting Corporation, Denisov, discovered them from the vast sea of film and was determined to show people: what difficulties did China, which we are familiar with today, encounter and what kind of urban life did it have 70 years ago?
