Description
Plot Summary
Kind and cautious New Zealand team leader Rob Hall (played by Jason Clarke), whose team is called "Adventure Advisors"; And Scott Fisher (played by Jake Gyllenhaal) is witty and funny, leading the "Crazy Mountains" mountaineering team from Seattle. They compete with each other and help each other. The warriors in the two teams come from various industries, including postal workers, journalists, doctors, and a professional woman from Japan. These climbers may seem ordinary, but behind each of them lies a dream of their own, inspiring them to reach Mount Everest at an altitude of over 8000 meters and with thin oxygen. During the climbing process, their physical abilities rapidly declined. While dealing with physical exhaustion, hypoxia, and snow blindness, they unfortunately encountered a severe snowstorm, putting their lives on the brink of death. The film is adapted from a real adventure experience in 1996.
