Description
Plot Summary
Jerome, a 35 year old middle-aged diplomat (played by Jean Claude Brialy), is a man with profound insight and a sense of humor. Jerome, who is about to get married, participated in a vacation trip invited by his old friend Aurora (played by Aurora Cornu) as a bachelor. In the beautiful and peaceful countryside estate, Aurora introduced two teenage girls, Laura (played by Beatrice Romand) and Claire (played by Laurence de Monaghan), to him. The young and beautiful Claire made Jerome unable to resist the desire in his heart. When he saw Claire's boyfriend touching her knee, he had the idea of touching Claire's knee too. The film "Claire's Knees" directed by international film master Eric Houmai is one of Houmai's "Six Moral Stories" series of films. This film was nominated for multiple awards, including Best Foreign Language Film at the 29th Golden Globe Awards in 1972.
