Description
Plot Summary
Former American soldier Raymond Gaines (played by Dwayne Johnson), who won the Best Action Film at the 17th Teen Choice Awards Hollywood Disaster Special Effects Movie of the Year, has become a helicopter rescuer for the Los Angeles Fire Department after ending his career in the smoke and fire. Although he put in all his efforts, was respected, and trusted in his work, none of these could salvage his failed marriage. After a brief vacation, Lei returned to work when a once-in-a-century earthquake struck southern Nevada, completely destroying the Hoover Dam. Not long after, another strong earthquake struck Los Angeles from San Francisco, and Lei witnessed the terrifying scene of the bustling city turning into ruins from a helicopter. At this moment, his wife Emma (played by Carla Gugino) and daughter Blake (played by Alexandra Daddario) are separated from each other in two cities. In order to save his two loved ones, he bravely moves forward alone, racing against the earthquake in a race against time
