Description
Plot Summary
In the 1950s and 1960s, Dr. Henry West (played by William Mapother) founded the Atticus Institute, a spiritual laboratory, to conduct research on edge disciplines such as superpowers, perspective, mind reading, and aerial retrieval. Despite numerous setbacks and ridicule, Dr. West persevered towards his goal. In 1975, his laboratory was forced to close due to a scam, and at that moment, a slightly neurotic woman named Judith Winstead (played by Rya Kihlstedt) was sent to the laboratory. She had previously acquired superpowers due to injuries, and her seemingly genuine superpowers quickly impressed knowledgeable scientists. During this process, Judith's abilities continued to strengthen and even reached a point of losing control.
