Plot Summary

Mrs. Stone was an outdated American actress whose husband was very wealthy, but he suddenly passed away while they were on vacation in Europe. As a result, Mrs. Stone became a wealthy widow as soon as she got off the plane. The story is set in Italy shortly after the end of World War II. As a defeated country, Italy was in a state of depression, and some former aristocrats were now struggling to make ends meet. They had to make a living by introducing "young male companions" to wealthy women. Mrs. Stone obtained several male companions, all of whom were handsome Italian young men. However, she could not accept this kind of "transaction", so she always signed a check to dismiss them after their first meeting. But she couldn't resist making new attempts because she longed for the true love of young men for her.
