Description
Plot Summary
Natalie (played by Isabelle Huppert) is a university teacher who teaches philosophy courses at school. She has been married to her husband Hans (played by Andr é Marcon) for decades and together they have raised two children. They lead a peaceful and happy life. One day, Hans suddenly confessed to Natalie that he had a lover outside, and not only that, he also planned to move out of home and live with her. Although Natalie pretended to be calm on the surface, she suffered a strong blow in her heart. Natalie's mother (played by Edith Scob) was once a popular model, but now she is suffering from depression and has attempted suicide multiple times. Helpless, Natalie has to go against her mother's wishes and send her to a nursing home. At the same time, Natalie's former student Fabian (played by Roman Kolinka) appeared in front of her. He and his friends planned to create a philosophy website and invited Natalie to be their advisor.
