Description
Plot Summary
This film is co directed by Zhao Zhenqiang and Li Taiheng. The story describes that during World War II, when the female singer Ah Hua (Kuang Meibao) fled, she was raped and killed by the rural tycoon Tao Laoye, who also took away her jewelry and money; Since then, the Tao mansion has been haunted frequently, and soon after, Mr. Tao also died mysteriously. His family moved elsewhere, and the Tao mansion has been abandoned ever since. After many years, Tao Ming (Gu Guanzhong), a descendant of Mr. Tao, became obsessed with gambling and owed a huge sum of money due to the mischief of the ghost of Ah Hua. Ming's wife secretly sold the old Tao mansion to Professor Yang and his wife (Liu Yong, Qian Huiyi). After Yang moved in, he encountered a series of strange things, and he had to believe in the theory of ghosts and gods that had no scientific basis
