Description

Plot Summary

The two brothers often go fishing with their father. The murmuring river and quiet afternoon have become the most unforgettable moments between father and son. My father was an old pastor who often preached in the town. His eldest son Norman (played by Craig Sheffer) inherited his father's career - he was good at teaching and returned to his hometown to preach and teach after graduating from college. The youngest son Paul (played by Brad Pitt) has a very different personality - he loves freedom and has a unique fishing method. However, what is worrying is that he has become addicted to gambling and has been beaten for owing money as a result. After Norman got married, he received an offer letter from the University of Chicago. Before leaving for Chicago, he enjoyed fishing time again by the river with his father and brother. He advised Paul to leave here with him, but Paul was obsessed with fishing and refused to leave. Unexpectedly, this was the final gathering.
