Description

Plot Summary

In the spring of 1871, the Japanese ambassador, under the protection of two samurai, traveled by train across the mainland of the United States to the capital city of Washington, D.C., to deliver a priceless military knife gifted by the Japanese Emperor to the President of the United States. The train was robbed by bandits Link and his deputy Gao Shi, and the military knife was also stolen. Gao Shi designed to kill Link in order to monopolize the treasure. After the bandits left, the Japanese ambassador saved Link, who was seriously injured, and ordered the warriors Kurodo Jubei and Link to retrieve their swords within seven days. During the seven days of fighting together between Link and Hedo, they were surprised to find that the spirit of Bushido in the East and the cowboy culture in the West of the United States had so different paths to the same destination.
