Plot Summary

A classic Hollywood inspirational film starring Meryl Streep, adapted from a true story. Previously, the documentary "Small Wonders" documented the touching story of this music teacher and her students. The performance of the female lead was as outstanding as ever, and as a result, the film was nominated for Best Actress at the 1999 Academy Awards. The theme song of this film also won the Academy Award for Best Original Song that year. Online review up to 8.0: The sudden departure of her husband has plunged Roberta (played by Meryl Streep) into deep pain. Like most housewives, Roberta's entire world is her husband and family. Now that these two things have collapsed and shattered, how should Roberta, who is already quite young, handle herself? Sadness is sadness, but life must go on. With two children, Roberta moved his family to East Harlem, New York, where he picked himself up and began a new life as a violin teacher. Roberta firmly believes that art can cultivate one's character, and even children who have never been influenced by art will surely resonate with the beautiful sound of the violin. But the leaders of the school where Roberta taught did not think so. They constantly reduced Roberta's education funding, but this did not shake Roberta's determination. Roberta's efforts finally paid off: one day, she led her students to a concert at the Carnegie Hall, a symbol of honor and achievement
