Description
Plot Summary
Sam (played by Sean Penn), who works at Starbucks, is only 7 years old despite being an adult. By chance, he took in a homeless woman. The woman disappeared without a trace after helping Sam give birth to a daughter. He named his daughter Lucy (Dakota Fanning) because he loves The Beatles' "Lucy with Diamonds in the Sky" the most. He loves his children very much. Lucy grew up slowly under Sam's careful care, and she found that her father couldn't understand slightly more complex stories. She is refusing to grow up and hopes to be like her father. Father and daughter's lives are so happy. The education officials in the region discovered this special family and believed that Sam was not capable of taking care of Lucy, so they took Lucy away. Sam, who was extremely sad, was determined to regain custody of Lucy, so he arrogantly went to find the best lawyer in the area
