Description
Plot Summary
In the late Warring States period, the seven great powers of Yan, Zhao, Chu, Han, Wei, Qi, and Qin emerged together, but Qin was the most powerful and eager to annex the six states and unify the world. As a result, the King of Qin (Chen Daoming) became the enemy of the six states, and different stories of assassins against Qin continued to unfold in various regions. Among them, the Zhao assassins, Canjian (Liang Chaowei), Feixue (Zhang Manyu), Ruyue (Zhang Ziyi), and Changkong (Donnie Yen), were renowned for their superb swordsmanship, which prevented the King of Qin from sleeping soundly for ten years. One day, it was heard that Canjian and others had been killed by a swordsman named Wuming (Jet Li) from the state of Qin. The Qin king was overjoyed and urgently summoned them to the palace to meet, but was also cautious to prevent fraud. The battle of wits and courage between the Qin king and Wuming began.
