Description

Plot Summary

During the Warring States period in Japan, imperial power was weakened, and various feudal lords rose up in rebellion, leading to continuous wars. After the death of the hegemon Toyotomi Hideyoshi, Tokugawa Ieyasu came to power, and the world was plunged into a strong confrontation between the Toyotomi family and the Tokugawa forces. In 1600, former vassal Ishida Mitsunari, who rebelled against feudal lord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, raised an army and directly targeted Tokugawa Ieyasu, known as the "Battle of Sekigahara" in history. Tokugawa Ieyasu united with various feudal lords and daimyos to defeat the rebels, and the unification of the world was a foregone conclusion. However, as Toyotomi Hideyoshi's posthumous son Hideyori grew up and gained support from many powerful daimyos, the rebel forces gradually grew stronger, directly threatening the rule of the Tokugawa shogunate, and war was on the brink of breaking out. Faced with the continuous strengthening of the rebel forces, Tokugawa Ieyasu's power also rapidly expanded, and there was an urgent need to unify the world as soon as possible and stabilize the people's hearts. To achieve his goal, Tokugawa Ieyasu organized a large elite assassin group, and Amo was one of them. She is not only the only woman, but also the top assassin in swordsmanship. Amo's mission is to assassinate the unruly officials of Fengchen's former troops who intend to rebel, in order to prevent the recurrence of war. In order to become the coldest assassin, Amo even wielded his sword to kill his childhood sweetheart... Faced with an endless killing mission, the pain of the past made Amo unbearable, but the sword in his hand was even more ruthless. There is only one final mission left, as long as he successfully assassinates the rebel leader Masayuki Sanada, Amo can bid farewell to his career as an assassin. In the midst of danger, Amo was rescued by the enemy warrior Ginko. At this moment, the sword tightly held in Amo's hand shook because Ginko looked just like Amo's deceased lover Natsumi. Amidst the hustle and bustle of chasing and being killed, Amo began to doubt whether his mission of seeking world stability through blood and tears was correct. As a tool for power struggle and a cruel cold-blooded killer, can love rescue Amo from this fateful slaughter? Faced with the rematch of "lovers", which is more important, love or mission? Which one is lighter?
