Description
Plot Summary
There are two fishing boats on the endless sea, owned by an elderly man over sixty years old (played by Quan Zao Wan) who relies on two boats for a living. People on land come here to fish or enjoy the scenery. The old man lives with a young girl (played by Han Yeyun) who was found by the old man on the shore 10 years ago and has not been on land since then. The old man waits for the girl to turn 17 and marry her. Men who come fishing often want to take advantage of girls, and the elderly have to use sharp arrows to warn each other in order to protect the girls. One day, a college student (played by Xu Zhixi) who came fishing with his father was attracted to a mysterious girl on the boat. The old man felt that things were not going well and monitored the girl every day, not allowing her to get close to the college student. Meanwhile, the 16-year-old girl gradually became curious about things outside. The college student learned that the girl was going to marry an old man, so he decided to take the girl and flee to land
