Plot Summary

Larry Dali (played by Ben Stiller) seems to have a difficult life: he often changes jobs and has no fixed abode; His wife divorced him and found a securities broker. She is about to remarry, and her position in her son's mind is also precarious. Dali had to give up his dream of "doing big things" and become a night guard at the Natural History Museum in New York in order to save his own life and fight for custody of his son. Dali originally thought this was a boring job, but on his first day at work, something incredible happened: the Pharaoh Gold Medal in the museum had magical powers, and when night came, all the specimens in the museum would come back to life. The Tyrannosaurus rex chasing bones, the mischievous monkey, the tyrannical Hun king, the cave dwellers drilling wood to make fire... everything was turned upside down. With the help of the 26th President Teddy Roosevelt, Dali finally managed to control the situation, but he soon encountered new trouble: someone wanted to play with the idea of winning the old gold medal.
