Description
Plot Summary
The story takes place after the end of World War II, a brutal war that destroyed most cities and lands, with women becoming the biggest victims of the war. After a long wait, 26 brides were finally able to reunite with their long-awaited lovers on a plane called the "Bride's Flight", traveling thousands of miles to their loved ones' side. Ada (Karina Smulders), Esther (Anna Drijver), and Marjorie (Elise Schaap) are all among these women. On the plane, Ada meets handsome Frank (Waldemar Torenstra), and the two quickly fall in love. Later, Esther becomes pregnant with Frank's child through their romantic relationship. After the child was born, Esther gave him to Marjorie, who was unable to conceive. After marriage, Ada still couldn't forget Frank, and her deep emotions were eventually discovered by her husband.
