Plot Summary

In the future, due to the major catastrophe that humanity has suffered, a few people will switch from the surface to underground living. The initial design of this massive underground city could only sustain operation for 200 years, with only lighting as the sole means of illumination within the city. However, with the passage of time, 200 years will soon arrive, and the design lifespan of the urban core is also approaching. The number of power outages in the city is increasing, and the light that sustains us is about to disappear in this shimmering city. As good friends, Lena (played by Saoirse Ronan) and Dune (played by Harry Treadaway) often frolic in the complex pipes of Twilight City. One day, Lena discovered an ancient document that recorded how to get out of the Twilight City. As the lights of the city are about to go out, what secrets are there outside of this city? Is it a bright light? Lena and Doon decided to follow the guidance of this ancient document, step out of the city, and quickly explore the outside world to save the dying city.
