Description
Plot Summary
Jack Sully (played by Sam Worthington), a former naval soldier who was injured and paralyzed in battle, decides to come to Pandora to manipulate Dr. Grace (played by Sigourney Weaver) to create the "Avatar" hybrid creature by combining human genes with local Na'vi tribal genes, replacing his deceased brother. Jack's goal is to infiltrate the Nami tribe and persuade them to voluntarily leave their ancestral home through diplomacy, so that SecFor company can cut down the original forests in the area and mine expensive "unattainable" mines underground. During his exploration of Pandora, Jack met Princess Natiri (Zoe Saldana) of the Na'vi tribe and learned her survival skills and attitude towards nature. At the same time, the manager of SecFor company and military representative Colonel Miles (played by Stephen Lang) gradually loses patience and decides to resort to force to drive away the Na'vi people
