Plot Summary

On June 25, 1941, located on the east bank of the Bug River at the border of Belarus and Poland: birds were singing, military bands were playing cheerful music, and a festive ball was being held in the park. In peace, people were chatting, chasing, and playing, enjoying peaceful and happy moments... Suddenly, the dive and strafing of planes accompanied by overwhelming shelling tore apart the low sky, and the explosive waves and flying dust and debris pushed down and buried the terrified people... This is the opening of the movie "Battle of the Fortress" adapted from the classic and brutal battles of the Soviet German battlefield in World War II. The Brest Fortress is a transportation hub connecting Warsaw and Moscow, with important strategic significance. In the midst of swarms of tanks and well-equipped German troops besieging, 8000 brave Soviet Red Army soldiers, despite a shortage of weapons, mixed organizational structures, and huge sacrifices, persisted in their beliefs and defended their homeland, using their flesh and blood to restrain dozens of times their own German forces in a small area for thirty days until they were all killed. In the battle, the regimental commander and political commissar took the lead, calmly commanding in the counterattack, inspiring panicked soldiers to ignite their fighting spirit, and assembling soldiers of different formations into a combat team to tenaciously defend the fortress position; On the other side, a group of German soldiers broke into the fortress and encountered the border troops led by a Red Army lieutenant during the search. The Red Army soldiers either carried rifles with bayonets, or danced with engineering shovels, iron bars, and even knives to engage in hand to hand combat with the German army. The Soviet army, with incomplete knives and guns, relied on their fearless spirit to kill and kill the German army, causing widespread casualties and fleeing in panic. Director Alexander Kott presents the audience with the perspective of a young Red Army student, depicting the long duration of the Soviet German War, the bravery and tenacity of the Red Army soldiers, and the tragic and tragic scenes of the battle! While highlighting the grand theme, the intense battle scenes are thrilling, with air raids, explosions, artillery, tank heavy machine guns, flamethrowers, and the use of a large number of fireworks, sound effects, and special effects. The elements contained in the war blockbuster are presented brilliantly, and the audio-visual effects are unprecedentedly stunning!
