Plot Summary

After successfully adapting "The Wizard of Oz" and "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", Syfy turned his attention to another well-known fairy tale in Western society - "Peter Pan". The annual large-scale mini series "Neverland" aired from December 5th to 6th. However, unlike Tin Man and Alice, Syfy does not intend to adapt Peter Pan into a "modern version" this time, but rather to create a "prequel". Rhys Ifans, Anna Friel, Bob Hoskins, Raoul Trujillo, and Charlie Rowe will star in the drama. Peter Pan is a fictional character in the works of Scottish novelist and playwright J.M. Barrie (1860-1937). He is mischievous by nature, can fly, familiar with magic, but refuses to grow up. Peter Pan lives on Eternal Island and is a leader of a group of children. They deal with mermaids, Native Americans, elves, pirates, and many magical creatures. They often communicate with ordinary children from the outside world. The drama was filmed in Genoa, Italy and Dublin, Ireland, with special effects produced by Syfy's old partner RHI. The official plot description of Syfy is as follows: Thief leader Jimmy Hook (Rhys Ifans) demands that Peter (Charlie Rowe) and his friends steal a magic ball. During this process, Peter and others were transported to another world - Eternity Island. There, they traveled through the strange White Forest and met Dr. Fludd's Metropolitan City built with magic trees, as well as the tree elves led by the fairy Keira Knightley. This strange place not only has friends, but also enemies - enemies from different eras. This includes the 18th century pirate queen Elizabeth Bonny (Anna Friel) and her henchmen who spared no expense to maintain their youth forever. In the process of helping Saint Raoul Trujillo defend the "secret of eternal life," Peter and his friends realized that it was better to live a comfortable life in this fairyland like new home than to live a life of no one or ghosts outside.
