Description
Plot Summary
The film is based on a true story, where journalist Adam (played by John Krasinski) from a small town and volunteer Rachel (played by Drew Barrymore) from Greenpeace join the effort to save Arctic gray whales. The two must unite with the Inuit people of Alaska to confront opposition from oil companies and the armies of the Soviet Union and the United States - in the context of the Cold War at the time, they finally gained the world's attention, and the shadow of the Cold War was alleviated by the action to save this endangered animal.
