Plot Summary

In a town called Tenni, the sounds of birds and flowers, the freshness of vegetation, and the abundance of life are all superficial illusions. All the trees are made of artificial materials and operated by computers and electricity. Although the air quality is poor, the local people are happy to enjoy this convenient modern life, not to mention Mr. O'Hare (voiced by Rob Riggle) providing them with fresh bottled air! Young Ted (voiced by Zac Efron) has a crush on the beautiful girl Audrey (voiced by Taylor Swift). In order to help the girl achieve her dream of seeing real trees, he takes the risk to leave Tenny Town and go to the devastated and gloomy outside world to search for the legendary Old Man who knows everything about trees. From Old Wan's mouth, Ted learned about this former successful businessman and the entire process of the cotton tree covered paradise turning into a barren mountain. Le Tu will never return, unless... this film is adapted from the classic 1971 novel of the same name by the famous Dr. Seuss and won the 2012 Youth Choice Awards for Best Voice over (Taylor Swift) and Best Animated Feature.
