Description

Plot Summary

The film tells the story of a little boy named Victor who is heartbroken after his beloved dog Sparky is hit and killed by a car. During class at school, when the teacher was conducting an experiment using electric shocks to make frogs twitch their nerves, he had the inspiration to save his little dog. So at night, he triggered lightning from the sky to electrocute the body of the little dog, reviving it. The reborn puppy frightened the boy's neighbors, who saw the dog as a monster... When the neighbors chased after the dog, they forced the dog and the boy into a small wooden house and almost burned them to death. But the little dog rescued the boy and died on its own. The neighbors and the boy's parents were moved and determined to revive it again. They used car engines to produce electricity and once again saved the dog... "Frankenstein" is based on Burton's 1984 short film of the same name, inspired by Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein", but the ending of the film is much brighter than "Frankenstein". As early as the 1980s, Burton, who was still working at Disney, had the idea of "Science Dog". However, due to financial constraints and Burton's lack of feature films at the time, he ultimately decided to make it into a short film. Years later, Burton, who was already a renowned director, couldn't forget about this film and eventually put it on the agenda.
