Description
Plot Summary
In 1930s Spain, a strange disease spread among children who had no sweat glands, no tears, and no pain. To prevent further harm, those in power isolated sick children and imprisoned them in monasteries, completely depriving them of their freedom. The imprisoned boy Benino (Ilias Stothart) is attracted by the singing next door and becomes good friends with the girl Ines (Liah O'Prey) through a small hole he dug. These poor children must learn about 'pain' in a unique way. In contemporary Spain, a doctor named David (à lex Brendem ü hl) is involved in a serious car accident while driving. His wife, Anna (Irene Montal à), is saved, but their 6-month-old child is spared. David, who had temporarily escaped the gates of hell, later learned that he had fatal lymphoma and his life was uncertain when it would end. In order to obtain a bone marrow transplant, David had to turn to his elderly parents for help, only to discover a long hidden secret
