Description

Plot Summary

At the end of the Warring States period in Japan, Toyotomi Hideyoshi (played by Masanori Ichimura) was about to achieve eternal dominance, while the downfall of the Hojo clan was just around the corner. Hideyoshi ordered his subordinates Ishida Mitsunari (played by Uechi Yusuke) and Ota Yoshitsugu (played by Yamada Takayuki) to lead a 20000 strong army to approach the small town of Ninjo on the territory of the Hojo clan. The lord of the castle, Narita clan chief (played by Masahiko Nishimura), who had only 500 defenders, knew it was difficult to resist and had already surrendered to Kanpakuna. He then fled to his own city, Odawara. Afterwards, the clan leader was referred to as the "puppet Adou" by the people, and his cousin Nagachika (played by Manzai Nomura) served as the acting lord of the castle. The mischievous and mischievous Nagachika was dissatisfied with the arrogant words and actions of the envoy Nagasuke Masamune (played by Taira Hirayama), and immediately declared war. With the support of heroes such as Masaki Danbo (played by Hiroshi Sato), Shibasaki Izumi Shou (played by Tomohiro Yamaguchi), and Naoto Sakamoto (played by Hiroshi Narimiya), as well as the entire military and civilians of the city, the weak ninjo and Toyotomi armies engaged in a power struggle... This film is adapted from the novel of the same name written by screenwriter Ryu Wada based on real historical events, and is the longest delayed Japanese film due to the forced postponement of 311.
