Description
Plot Summary
Sael (played by Sam Riley) is a young writer who seeks inspiration and yearns to travel, while Dean Moriarty (played by Garrett Hedlund) is a promiscuous and restless teenager who has been to prison several times and married 16-year-old promiscuous girl Marilou (played by Kristen Stewart). However, Sael greatly enjoyed Dean's passionate life, while Dean admired Sael's demeanor and knowledge. After the three young people who were obsessed with freedom met, they quickly decided to abandon life and walk together on the road. They hitchhiked all the way, smoked marijuana, sang loudly while walking, and pondered while drunk. On the road that crosses America from east to west, let go of the wild, pursue oneself, and burn youth. The film is adapted from the autobiographical novel of the same name by American author Jack Kerouac, which is revered as the Bible of the 'Generation that Crossed'.
