Plot Summary

Big eyed Mike Husky (voiced by Billy Crystal), who had always dreamed of becoming a scare commissioner since childhood, finally got admitted to the Monster University's Scar Academy, where he has produced countless legendary figures. For this small monster with a pleasing appearance and no terrifying aura at all, gnawing on books seems to be the only way to achieve his dream. On the other hand, James Sullivan (voiced by John Goodman), a student who comes from a notorious family and scares others, is naturally the focus of attention for his classmates around him, with a completely carefree playboy style. Unfortunately, these two guys with completely incompatible temperaments provoked the extremely strict dean Dean Dean Hardskleber (voiced by Helen Mirren), and as a result, they were struck out three times during the midterm exam and expelled from Scar Academy. Unwilling to fail, Big Eyes seized the opportunity and gathered a team to sign up for the scare game organized by the fraternity. As long as they won, they had a chance to return to the scare academy. In the arena where experts gather, Big Eyes and Fury Monster are about to face unprecedented challenges...
