Plot Summary
The 1939 Battle of the Western Peninsula was a symbolic battle of Poland's resistance against Nazi Germany in the early stages of World War II, with less than 200 Polish soldiers blocking nearly 2000 German troops for seven full days. This epic masterpiece showcases the magnificent scenes of the Polish army's bloody battles, with thrilling and breathtaking battles that have a super shocking audio-visual impact. Behind the smoke of gunpowder, the cooperation and conflict between Polish garrison commander Szczeszky and politician Dabrovsky demonstrated the profound acting skills of the actors, which was very satisfying. The lead actor, Michio Zambrovsky, was nominated for the Polish Academy Award for Best Actor three times and his acting skills in the film were superb.
