Plot Summary

One day in 2012, the best supporting actor (nominated) of the 8th Asian Film Awards and the best film (nominated) of the 37th Japan Film Academy Awards, Hirayama Zhouji (Qiao Zhao Gong) and his wife Fuko (Ji Xing and Zi) came to Tokyo together. On this bustling and hurried land, there live their three children: their eldest son, Yukiyoshi (played by Ayahiko Nishimura), who runs a clinic in the suburbs; their daughter, Ziko (played by Tomoko Nakajima), who runs a hair salon with her husband, Kuzo (played by Masanori Hayashi); and their second son, Changji (played by Satoshi Kiki), who works as a Kabuki artist. The family has not been reunited for a long time, and naturally their hearts are filled with joy. Just as their children grow up and carry the family business, they work tirelessly from morning till night to make a living, and have no time to take their parents on a trip to Tokyo. The elderly couple stayed at the children's homes one after another and deeply felt their hardships, while Changci's confusion about the future seemed to add to the worries of the Pingshan couple.
