Plot Summary
Zhang Weiwen has been in the industry for over 30 years, and his voice is known for its rich magnetism and gentle depth, making him a true powerhouse singer. In 1978, he won the championship at the TVB Amateur Singing Competition with his song "Farewell Advice" (a cover of the famous Taiwanese song "Anping Nostalgia Song" from the 1950s). Six months later, he signed a contract with Eternal Records and officially embarked on his career. Between 1978 and 1982, he released a total of six solo albums, which were very successful. The best-selling album sold over 300000 copies (excluding overseas markets) and won the Top Ten Golden Melody Awards. He also earned the title of 'Factory Sister Prince'. In 1985, he gave up performing in front of the stage and turned to developing behind the scenes, starting an 18 year career in the music industry. He has served as the voice actor for famous Hong Kong singers such as Wang Mingquan, Leslie Cheung, Sam Hui, Alan Tam, and George Lam. He is known as the 'king of the music industry'. Over the years, his well-known and enduring golden songs such as "Farewell Advice", "I am Endless Love", "Goodbye, Wild Jasmine", "Rain of Hometown", "As Long as You Have Me", "Hometown Everywhere", etc. have been widely circulated in Hong Kong, and the media has praised him as the "King of Beautiful Voices".
