Description
Plot Summary
In 1944, the Changheng Hui Warring States Civil Army ended in failure, and the brave officer Fei Zhenxi was captured in a Japanese prisoner of war camp due to being injured and unconscious. There, all prisoners of war not only suffered inhumane physical torture, but also suffered devastating destruction to their psychological defenses. Fei Zhenxi engaged in multiple battles of wits and courage with the Japanese army in the prisoner of war camp, and was repeatedly brutally beaten by the Japanese army. However, he still chose to die rather than surrender for the sake of his country and faith. After experiencing a series of inhumane tortures, Fei Zhenxi unexpectedly met Communist Party soldiers such as Liu Feng and Feng Laoda who shared the same patriotic spirit. Influenced by the spirit of the Eighth Route Army led by Liu Feng, he decided to join the Communist Party. In the end, everyone successfully foiled the Japanese conspiracy and led a group of prisoners of war out of the prisoner of war camp.
