Description
Plot Summary
Vietnamese youth Nguyen Quang Fai became a "runaway migrant worker" in order to repay his debts as soon as possible. He worked hard and hoped to return home, but in 2017, he was reported for stealing a car by the river and was shot nine times by the police before dying. Public opinion supports police law enforcement, but leaves a series of mysteries. Why did the police shoot nine naked migrant workers? What forced him to become an escaped migrant worker? The images of arrests, interviews with family members, and related reports interweave, revealing the hidden structure of accomplices. The desolate scenery is accompanied by a voiceover taken from Ruan Guofei's Facebook post, as if returning to a ghost to express the sadness of a short life.
