Description
Plot Summary
The story is loosely based on Spielberg's life experiences, mainly focusing on the male protagonist's growth period and his relationship with his parents. His name is not Steven, but he lives in Phoenix, Arizona like him. Spielberg lived in Phoenix in the late 1950s and early 1960s, and while facing anti Semitism, he also used his father's 8mm camera to shoot family and adventure movies. During his high school years, Spielberg's family moved to California. Later, his parents divorced and he lived with his father. The tense relationship between him and his father also became the inspiration for his films such as "E.T. the Extra Terrestrial," "Captain Hook," "Jurassic Park," "Lincoln," and "Tom and Jerry.
