Description
Plot Summary
A house for sale was handed over to a young female real estate agent named Li. She discovered a girl in the house who was mentally ill and thought she was the daughter of the previous owner who had run away from home. She wanted to lend a helping hand, but to her surprise, the girl seemed to be controlled by a supernatural force. Li and her artist sister Viola were both unable to escape her clutches Nicholas McCarthy, the screenwriter and director of "At the Devil's Gate," previously directed the thriller film "Promise" in 2012. The film continues the story of the dark room in the house and family history, with real estate agent Li played by Katerina Sandino Moreno, the lead actress of "Maria in the Mood for Love." It premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival and will be released online and on DVD on August 8th. It will be released in North America on September 12th.
