Plot Summary
The most controversial video at the 1977 Cannes Film Festival is "The Girl's Sentiment is Always Poetry", which depicts a female student in her early stages of love and her first love with a bold and beautiful mirror image, and her love process also involves lesbian scenes. The title "Beatrice" is a Greek socialite who lived in Cyprus. It is said that she once wrote many poems describing the love life of lesbian women in a style similar to Sappho, a Greek female poet of the same era as her. Therefore, she later became a symbol of Western lesbian women, and the small island "Lesbos" where she and Sappho lived is the origin of the term "Lesbian" for lesbian women. In 1955, one of the earliest lesbian organizations was named "Daughters of Bilitis".
