Description
Plot Summary
Mike (Riven Phoenix) and Scott (Keanu Reeves) are both male prostitutes who have fallen into poverty on the streets, but due to their vastly different family backgrounds, they are not as "unspoken" as they seem. Mike, who often faints, is always filled with broken fragments of childhood in his mind, and the poetic countryside of Idaho often enters his dreams. He is determined to find his long lost mother and regards Scott as his confidant and lover. Scott was originally the son of the mayor of Portland, and "willingly fell" only to experience the pleasure of promiscuous youth. He knew very well that although he was accompanying Mike all the way from Portland to Seattle, and from Idaho to Italy, Mike could not become his ultimate warm home. What he could return to was power, glory, and girls.
