Description
Plot Summary
John Bowman had already made action films with a modern feel thirty years ago, making him a pioneer of his time. In the 1960s, action superstar Li Marvin played a notorious gangster who was assassinated by his unfaithful wife and her criminal boyfriend. However, he survived and was released from prison two years later, dedicating himself to seeking revenge against those who framed him. Although the overall rhythm of the film is not as tight and powerful as action movies in the 1990s, the camera is never sloppy, and some scenes even capture a true sense of violence. The scenery on the West Coast of the United States, including the famous Akacui Prison, enhances the visual appeal of this film. Actors such as Angie Dickinson and Carol O'Connor also performed well.
