Plot Summary

Synopsis: Joan Wilder is a romantic thriller novelist. Since becoming famous, every novel by Qiong has been a bestseller and has had a considerable influence among a wide range of readers. Perhaps due to the author's excessive fantasy and sentimentality, Qiong always hopes that her life can be like the protagonist in her writing, crossing the four fields, romantic and full of excitement. One day, as Joan was finishing a new work and preparing to meet her publisher, Mrs. Owen brought Joan an email from Eduardo Jumos in Cartagena, Colombia from downstairs, which gave Joan such an opportunity. The email was sent by Joan's sister Elaine, who is far away in Colombia. After being kidnapped by two gem thieves named Ella and Nalf, my sister used Elaine as a hostage and asked Joan to bring a heart-shaped emerald treasure map that Elaine sent to her to Cartagena to rescue her. Since her brother-in-law's tragic death in Colombia, Joan has only been a relative like her sister. Upon receiving the phone call, Joan no longer heeded the advice of the publisher and flew overnight from New York to the capital of Colombia, Bogot á. On the way from Bogota to Cartagena by car, the tropical jungles and towering mountains of South America were beyond Joan's imagination. To Joan's surprise, from the moment she set off from New York, she was targeted by a guy named Zoro. When an accident occurred halfway through the car, Zoro, who had been following along, aimed his gun at Joan, who was alone in the exotic jungle. Fortunately, a lone man walked up the hillside. After a fierce exchange of shots, the man drove away Zoro, and Joan offered him $375 as his guide and travel companion. Shortly after Zoro left, he gathered local illegal armed police to chase after him. In the vast tropical jungle, the man led Joan through thorns, through jungles, canyons, and rivers. In Zoro's pursuit, he crawled into the cabin of a crashed plane. Until then, Joan realized that the brave, humorous, and trustworthy man in front of her was named Jack T. Colton and also from the United States. Leaving the jungle, Joan and Jack arrived at a small mountain village where drug traffickers were concentrated. When Jack went to borrow a car from a slightly reputable local watchmaker, the originally domineering watchmaker learned that the lady in front of him was his admired writer. Not only did he warmly entertain her, but he also helped Joan and Jack escape Zoro's crazy pursuit and arrived in Cartagena. In the hotel that Jack opened for Joan in Katarina, Joan began to feel that Jack had entered her heart and spent a passionate night with him. However, at this moment, Jack also began to have the idea of hiding a treasure map. Following the markings on the map, Joan and Jack successfully found the large green gemstone in a cave behind a waterfall. Just as Joan and Jack were delighted with the gemstone, Nalf and Zoro, who had been following closely, appeared one after another. Another intense pursuit, Jack retrieved the gem from Nalf's hands, but fell into the rapids with Joan. When they climbed ashore from the water, Jack and Joan were already standing on either side of the riverbank. Although Joan was still holding the treasure map, the gemstone was in Jack's hands. Joan and Ella got in touch and arranged a place to exchange sisters. Jack unexpectedly arrived at the castle where he was exchanging treasure maps with his sister. After a life and death struggle, the gemstone was taken away by a crocodile along with Zoro's hand holding it. The greedy Zoro eventually died in the crocodile's belly, and Ella disregarded the life or death of her companion Nalf and left alone. At the moment the police arrived, Jack jumped into the sea and Joan successfully rescued her sister. Shortly after returning to New York, Joan's trip to Colombia resulted in another best-selling work. When the publisher was moved by the ending of the male protagonist jumping into the sea in the novel, a brand new sailboat stopped downstairs from Joan's house. The captain of the sailboat was wearing crocodile leather boots, waiting for his beautiful bride Joan Wilder to set sail together and travel the world. Exciting Viewpoint: Her dream is to become a hero who travels the world and rivers in her novels. Her dream lover is a perfect man who is honest, humorous, gentlemanly, and trustworthy. When her sister's accident puts her in the jungle of Colombia, two wishes come true simultaneously in a risky, gunfight, and treasure hunting experience. The production team of the film is strong. Director Robert Zemeckis wrote, directed, and starred in no less than thirty excellent works throughout his life. Forrest Gump won him six Academy Awards and established his position in Hollywood; The two leading actors, Michael Douglas and Katherine Turner, are also big name Hollywood stars with absolute power. Among them, Katherine Turner began her career in the film industry by participating in the filming of "Body Heat" in 1981, and starred in "Charm" in 2000. Over the course of more than 20 years, she starred in and appeared in excellent films such as "The Brain Runner," "Crime of Passion," "In the Play," "Best Actress," "Little Wishes," "Winged Angels," "The Spy Family," and "The 64th Academy Awards Ceremony. I believe that such a movie that combines celebrities, adventure, and gunfights will accompany the audience through a wonderful time. Broadcast on CCTV-6 at 22:32 on January 22nd
