Description
Plot Summary
Karen (played by Audrey Hepburn) and Martha (played by Shirley MacLaine) jointly manage a private school. Despite being of the female generation, their independent, wise, and decisive style has won the love of many students and teachers, and their friendship is also very strong. Mary (played by Karen Balkin) has been living a pampered life since childhood, and growing up in indulgence, she gradually developed a twisted and eccentric personality. After a mistake, Mary was punished by Karen and Martha, but in Mary's eyes, this punishment was a great shame, and the seeds of hatred took root and sprouted in her young heart. Mary told her grandmother that she accidentally saw Karen and Martha kissing, and her angry grandmother exposed this unfounded slander to the public. Faced with the fierce desire to punish, Karen and Martha first rose up in rebellion, but soon they realized that their only bargaining chips - sincerity and frankness - were so insignificant.
