Plot Summary

This film is a star studded drama that tells the story of a family living in a poor village in Bangladesh, India. Harry, who considers himself knowledgeable, is the head of the family. Although he works as a landlord's accountant, he always dreams of becoming a poet. He did not perform outstandingly in this regard, and even became so poor that he used his ancestors' orchards as collateral for loans. His wife is gentle and virtuous, enduring hardships for a living without complaint. My daughter and son also enjoy eating fruits stolen from the orchard. One day, Harry came home with his salary and the whole family celebrated with a big celebration. The wife who lived with them borrowed a piece of fabric from them but was driven away. Soon, his son and daughter found the wife lying in the forest, dead for a long time. Harry borrowed money outside for five months without any news, while his daughter died peacefully due to a serious illness. Upon hearing the terrible news, Harry and his wife came to the forest with tears streaming down their faces, shouting loudly and swearing to improve their lives and move elsewhere. At dawn, he drove the ox cart with his whole family and simple luggage to set off for the city of Naples. The film highlights the commonality between human and natural life through the perspective of a teenager under the age of ten.
