Description

Plot Summary

In 1940s America, the "Godfather" Vito Don Corleone (played by Marlon Brando) was the leader of the Corleone family of the Mafia, leading the family into illegal activities. However, at the same time, he was also a protector of many vulnerable civilians and deeply loved by people. Due to rejecting the drug trafficking demands of drug lord Sollozzo, conflicts between the Corleone family and several other Mafia families in New York escalated. On Christmas Eve, Sollozzo kidnapped Tom, the staff officer of the "Godfather", and sent someone to assassinate him; Due to the betrayal of the traitor, the eldest son of the 'Godfather', Sunni, was killed by his enemy; The youngest son Mike (played by Al Pacino) was also involved and lost his beloved wife. The conflicts between mafia families are becoming increasingly intense. How does the elderly 'Godfather' lead the overall situation in the face of the pain of losing his son? How did the feud between the Mafia end? Who is the traitor of the family? Who can become the new generation's' godfather '? The bloody and tender atmosphere is truly portrayed in this milestone epic gangster film.
