Description

Plot Summary

The young and beautiful Linnette (played by Lois Chiles) inherited a huge fortune from her father, which made Linnette's friend Jacqueline (played by Mia Farrow) jealous. However, what made Quighlin even more unacceptable was that her boyfriend Doyle (played by Simon MacCorkindale) had abandoned her and embraced this wealthy woman. Linnette and Doyle, who got married in a flash wedding, decided to go on their honeymoon in Egypt. Upon hearing the news, a group of people gathered around them like cats smelling a fishy smell. Polo (played by Peter Ustinov) also sensed some unusual smells during this journey. Cleverly, he and his assistant Colonel Reese (played by David Niven) also arrived in Egypt and boarded the ship bound for conspiracy and death. Linnette has died, her maid Louis (played by Jane Birkin) has died, and the witness to the case, erotic novelist Angela Lansbury, has also died. The ship is shrouded in a terrifying atmosphere. Except for Jacqueline and Doyle, everyone has a motive and timing for committing the crime. Is it a love killing? Is it a revenge killing? The truth can never escape the eyes of detective Polo. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by the famous British novelist Agatha Christie.
