Description
Plot Summary
Erin Grant (played by Demi Moore) is a single mother who has lost custody of her daughter due to a lack of stable employment and income. Irene, who deeply loves her daughter, does not want to leave her to her rogue ex husband Darrell Grant (played by Robert Patrick). She can only go to a bar in Florida every night to strip and earn money, in order to regain her adoption rights. The lecherous congressman David Dearbeck (played by Burt Reynolds) is one of her infatuated guests. One night, Eileen was harassed by an alcoholic. David stepped forward and beat the drunkard with a bottle of wine. However, this scene was captured by one of Eileen's admirers, revealing not only David's identity but also his malicious extortion. However, not long after, the extortionist was murdered and drowned in a pond. Detective Garcia (played by Armand Assante) is tasked with investigating this case. During the meticulous investigation, a series of unexpected events followed.
