Description
Plot Summary
Fletcher (played by Jim Carrey) is a well-known barrister who, in order to win a lawsuit, has developed the ability to turn right from wrong and right from wrong, which is to lie repeatedly. Lying has become Fletcher's instinctive reaction, even when facing his wife and 5-year-old son Max (played by Justin Cooper). His wife and children have also become accustomed to his style. On this day, it was Max's birthday, and Fletcher couldn't come due to unforeseen circumstances. Fletcher was naturally full of lies and fabricated various excuses. Disappointed Fletcher made his birthday wish: that one day his father wouldn't lie anymore. Something magical happened! Fletcher really can't lie anymore. As a result, he kept making a fool of himself: almost losing the lawsuit, offending his boss... how did Fletcher, who was in unprecedented chaos, ultimately face all of this?
