Description
Plot Summary
At the end of World War II, Grace (Nicole Kidman) raised her children alone on a small island in England, patiently waiting for her husband to return from the battlefield. Children are afraid of light, and exposure to light can cause illness, so the curtains in the house are tightly closed all year round. In such a dark ancient mansion, Grace welcomed three new servants. After the arrival of these three people, Grace's heart was chilled - the curtains were often pulled open, the door inexplicably opened, the piano automatically played, and her daughter said she often saw unfamiliar men in the room. Grace was in a state of mental tension, unable to understand why strange things kept happening and why her husband had been absent for so long. And she finally realized that all her fears actually came from within, but the situation was irreversible
